UMSNH Rector Yarabí Ávila discusses university reforms

Yarabí Ávila González, rector of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH), met with members of the University Council and technical councils to discuss the institution's current direction and structural reforms.

During the meeting, Ávila emphasized the importance of collective work to conclude the current administration successfully. She highlighted recent progress in university reform, including the updating of various regulations and the University Statute, which was originally approved 61 years ago. The rector also addressed the institution's financial situation and noted growth in academic, research, sports, and infrastructure sectors.
