Umut Kibrit receives accreditation to referee in Romania

Umut Kibrit, a professional in the aviation industry and a licensed football referee in Turkey since 2012, has received official accreditation from the Romanian Football Federation. This milestone makes him the first Turkish referee to officiate in Romania, with expectations for him to participate in the 2026-2027 football season.

Kibrit maintains a dual career. In aviation, he serves as a Flight Dispatcher and has held roles at companies including Havaş, Gözen Air, Palmali, Bilen Air, and SunExpress. He also served as the Vice President of the Turkey Dispatchers Association. Alongside his aviation and legal studies in Romania, he has been active in sports and social responsibility sectors.
