Umut Yılmaz visits Selimiye and Mevlana neighborhoods

Şehitkamil Mayor Umut Yılmaz conducted visits to the Selimiye and Mevlana neighborhoods to meet with residents and discuss local needs. During these meetings, citizens raised various concerns regarding infrastructure, roads, lighting, cleanliness, and social spaces.

Yılmaz emphasized a participatory management style, stating that the municipality aims to identify problems directly on the ground to ensure no citizen feels forgotten. He noted that the municipality provides regular social assistance to approximately 60,000 families, covering various demographics including the elderly, children, and low-income households. These support programs extend beyond economic aid to include services aimed at improving quality of life in education and health.
