Un Posto al Sole begins Calabria shoot for 30th anniversary

Rai Fiction’s long‑running soap *Un Posto al Sole* started filming in Calabria on 14 June 2026 and will continue until 19 June. Production crews moved from Naples to the Sila mountains and the Tyrrhenian coast, shooting scenes in Camigliatello Silano, Scalea, San Nicola Arcella and Praia. The shoot is part of the series’ 30‑year celebration and is backed by the Regione Calabria tourism department and the Calabria Film Commission. International star Whoopi Goldberg joined the cast for a recurring role, marking a high‑profile guest appearance.

The programme will return to air on Rai 3 from 22 June, with daily episodes that feature new romantic entanglements, family secrets and a heist storyline. Plot highlights include Manuela confronting her mother over past betrayals, a robbery at Palazzo Palladini, and escalating tensions among several characters.
