Un Posto al Sole launches new 250‑episode season highlighting social themes
Rai Fiction confirmed that the long‑running Italian daily drama *Un Posto al Sole* will return with a new season of 250 episodes, each about 27 minutes long. The series, set in the Posillipo district of Naples, continues to depict the lives of the residents of Palazzo Palladini while addressing contemporary issues such as violence against women, foster care, organ donation and the employment crisis.
The upcoming episodes follow multiple intertwined storylines: a theft investigation at the building, Jimmy’s psychological counseling, relationship tensions between characters like Alberto, Anna and Gianluca, and further developments in the personal lives of Niko, Manuela, Stella, and others. The production is a co‑production between Rai Fiction, FremantleMedia Italia and the Rai TV Production Centre in Naples, with a large ensemble cast and multiple directors handling the daily scripts.
