Un si grand soleil reaches record viewership as storylines intensify
The daily French soap on France 3 saw its strongest week of 2026, averaging 2.13 million viewers (13.9 % share) with a peak of 2.28 million on 21 July. The rise follows the climax of the investigation into Nicolas Fourneau’s murder, which concluded with the perpetrator’s arrest, and a subsequent storyline where commissioner Becker organized a bike race that ended in controversy.
Meanwhile, the plot surrounding character Flore deepens: after inadvertently causing a man’s death with industrial ethanol, she and William hide the body on the farm while the operation faces a hefty URSSAF debt of €29,800. The series will also be pre‑empted in the week of 10–14 August for live coverage of the European Athletics Championships, disrupting its usual evening slot.
