Una Hotels Reggio Emilia defeats Bkvis Pardubice in BCL opener

Una Hotels Reggio Emilia secured a victory in their Basketball Champions League (BCL) return, defeating Czech side Bkvis Pardubice with a final score of 82-65 at the Palabigi.

Following two recent losses in domestic league play, coach Dimitris Priftis described the performance as a solid and mentally important win for the team. Key contributors included Barford and Visconti, with Visconti earning MVP honors for his aggressive play. The team also saw the return of Smith, who recorded seven assists despite still working back to full physical fitness following an injury.

Despite the win, the team faces ongoing challenges with player injuries. Coach Priftis noted that the squad must manage both chronic and short-term injuries, which influenced the limited playing time for players such as Severini and Rossato.
