Una Čolić faces social media backlash over Mladić posts

Una Čolić, daughter of regional music star Zdravko Čolić, has faced significant social media backlash following allegations that she liked posts glorifying convicted war criminal Ratko Mladić.

Bosnian influencer Mirza Mustafagić released screenshots claiming to show Čolić’s “like” on a post by Banja Luka Mayor Draško Stanivuković, who paid tribute to Mladić during a funeral in Belgrade. In response to the public outcry, Čolić contacted Mustafagić privately, requesting he remove the content. She defended herself by stating that she does not personally manage her Instagram account and does not take political sides.

Mustafagić rejected her explanation, leading to a heated exchange. Following the public dispute and subsequent negative comments, Čolić’s Instagram profile was deactivated. Mustafagić has since claimed that the controversial content was not only liked but also shared from her profile.
