Una-Sana Canton allocates 2.83 million KM for infrastructure and ecology

The Una-Sana Canton (USK) Government has allocated 2.83 million KM to support infrastructure, ecology, and communal projects across the region. Edvin Odobašić, the Minister for Construction, Spatial Planning, and Environmental Protection, signed contracts with various cities, municipalities, public enterprises, and organizations to distribute these funds.

Of the total amount, 1 million KM is designated for specific infrastructure projects, with an additional 116,463.04 KM allocated for the preparation of necessary project documentation. Public utility companies will receive 618,000 KM in capital grants. Furthermore, 1.09 million KM collected from environmental fees has been distributed to promote ecological sustainability among municipalities, public institutions, private companies, and non-profit organizations.

In Velika Kladuša, Mayor Boris Horvat signed an agreement for 450,000 KM in capital grants. These funds are earmarked for several road modernization projects, the construction of a fire station, and the installation of public lighting. Additionally, the municipality received 89,040 KM from environmental funds for water disinfection equipment and approximately 24,485 KM for technical documentation related to urban park arrangements and road reconstruction.
