Una-Sana Canton announces rent subsidies for young couples

The Ministry of Construction, Spatial Planning and Environmental Protection of Una-Sana Canton has announced a public call to subsidize rent for young couples for the year 2026. A total of 120,000.00 KM has been allocated in the canton's budget for this purpose.

The subsidy aims to cover 70% of the monthly rent amount specified in the lease agreement for a period of 12 months. Eligible applicants include young people in marital or non-marital unions who reside in and have a valid lease agreement for a house or apartment within the Una-Sana Canton.

The initiative is designed as a demographic measure to provide financial relief to young people facing high real estate prices and to reduce the trend of youth emigration from the region.
