Una theatre production debuts at Ohrid Summer Festival

The theatre production ‘Una’ was recently performed as part of the 66th Ohrid Summer Festival. Produced by the Zvezdara Theatre from Belgrade, the play is based on the novel of the same name by Momo Kapor, adapted by Stevan Koprivica and directed by Dejan Projkovski.

The production explores themes of individual struggle, personal freedom, and the enduring nature of love. It examines how the past influences the present and how memory can shape a human life. Director Dejan Projkovski noted that adapting the novel into a play presented a significant challenge, as the story had previously only been adapted into a film in the 1980s.

The performance received strong applause for its acting and its introspective, emotional portrayal of human relationships within social and moral frameworks.
