Unafam Aveyron conducts mental health awareness outreach

Unafam Aveyron is conducting local outreach through various association forums in Millau, Saint-Affrique, and Villefranche-de-Rouergue. The organization aims to raise mental health awareness and provide support, information, and guidance to families and relatives of individuals living with psychic disorders.

Upcoming activities include a participation in the Rodez association forum on October 4. Additionally, as part of the Mental Health Information Weeks (SISM), the organization will host a free event titled ‘When expression becomes art’ on October 16 in Rodez. This event will feature artistic creations such as paintings and writings by individuals with psychic disorders and their caregivers to help reduce social stigma. Further sessions specifically for families are scheduled for November 23 in Saint-Affrique and in early 2027 in Rodez.
