Unai Emery reaches 100 Premier League wins with Aston Villa

Aston Villa manager Unai Emery has become the ninth fastest manager to reach 100 Premier League victories, achieving the milestone in his 197th match. The achievement followed a 1-0 away win against Newcastle at St James' Park.

Despite significant squad changes during the summer transfer window, involving outgoing transfers valued at 365.25 million euros, the team has maintained strong form. This includes winning four of their last five matches across all competitions, highlighted by a 6-0 victory against Fenerbahce in the Champions League.

In addition to domestic success, Emery expressed satisfaction with the club's performance in European competition following a 3-1 win against Viking. He noted the team's tactical growth and the positive atmosphere provided by the fans as they prepare for upcoming high-profile fixtures against Barcelona, Galatasaray, and Manchester City.
