UNAM hosts FiloFest 2026 to welcome new students

The Faculty of Philosophy and Letters at UNAM held FiloFest 2026 to welcome approximately 2,000 new students for the 2027 generation. Held at the UNAM Exhibition and Congress Center, the event aimed to introduce students from sixteen different undergraduate programs to university life, including campus facilities, academic services, and opportunities in culture, sports, and well-being.

During the event, Faculty Director Mary Frances Rodríguez Van Gort encouraged students to embrace the stage with responsibility, emphasizing the university as a space for critical thinking and dialogue. The program included an integration rally with thematic stations covering gender perspective, university sports, health, academic support, and mobility programs.
