UNAM Rector presents Pumas CU football team for 2026 season

UNAM Rector Leonardo Lomelí Vanegas attended the official presentation of the Pumas CU 2026 American football team at the Olympic University Stadium. The event marked the team's readiness for the upcoming season in the ONEFA Major League.

During the presentation, Lomelí emphasized that the football program has provided identity and colors to the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) through decades of achievements. Head coach César Belmonte Ríos expressed the team's commitment to representing the university on the field.

In addition to the team presentation, the Rector delivered two 2026 model ambulances equipped with advanced support technology to the General Directorate of Health Care personnel.
