UNAM's CCH Sur resumes in-person classes after security issues

The Colegio de Ciencias y Humanidades (CCH) Sur, part of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), is resuming in-person classes following security concerns and student protests. The suspension of activities was triggered by the vandalism of campus access turnstiles, which prevented the institution from guaranteeing the safety of those entering the premises.

To resume operations, the school administration has implemented new security protocols. Students must present a valid identification card or a printed course schedule to gain entry. Access will be restricted to a single entrance located on Llanura Street, with faculty members utilizing a specific side entrance at the same location.
