UNC Asheville and South Carolina athletics report recent results and upcoming schedules

UNC Asheville athletics reported several recent and upcoming competitive results across multiple programs. In women's soccer, Alex Gib scored the decisive goal in a 1-0 victory over High Point, marking the Bulldogs' first win against the Panthers since 2017 and their best conference start since 2008.

In volleyball, UNC Asheville secured a five-set victory (23-25, 25-23, 25-21, 19-25, 15-10) against USC Upstate to open Big South Conference play. Sarah Wadsworth led the team with 21 kills and 27 total points.

In women's golf, the University of South Carolina is sending a quartet consisting of Yana Beeli, Camila Burnett, Nicole Koong, and Maylis Lamoure to compete in the Tot Hill Farm Invitational in Asheboro, North Carolina. The event features 12 competing teams and is hosted by the College of Charleston.
