UNC Baseball hires Eric McKibban as Director of Sports Performance

UNC Baseball has announced the hiring of Eric McKibban as the program's new Director of Sports Performance. McKibban joins the staff in Chapel Hill following a five-year tenure in a similar role with the Charlotte baseball program and the 49ers' softball team, where he helped both squads reach the NCAA postseason four times.

McKibban holds a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the University of Evansville and a master's degree in Kinesiology from the University of Central Florida. He is a Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and a Certified Speed & Agility Coach (CSAC). Head coach Scott Forbes stated that McKibban's expertise and proven track record in athlete development will help elevate the program's player development initiatives.
