UNC basketball recruits top five-star point guards

The University of North Carolina basketball program is prioritizing the point guard position for its 2027 recruiting class. Two five-star prospects, Beckham Black and Nasir Anderson, have visited the Chapel Hill campus in consecutive weeks.

Beckham Black, a 6-foot-3 guard from Southeastern Prep and the No. 1 ranked player in the 247 Composite rankings, visited on Saturday. Black previously competed for the United States at the FIBA U17 World Cup and is the younger brother of Orlando Magic guard Anthony Black.

Nasir Anderson, a 6-foot-3 guard from Prolific Prep in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, was scheduled for an official visit on Wednesday. Coach Michael Malone is working to secure these high-level lead guards as part of the program's first full high school recruiting class.
