UNC football Bill Belichick college football training camp Tar Heels preseason press conference

North Carolina head football coach Bill Belichick addressed the media during a preseason training camp press conference on Friday. Belichick highlighted three standout players who have performed well during the first two weeks of camp and currently sit at the top of the depth chart: linebacker Peyton Seelmann, defensive back Tre Miller, and offensive lineman Shaq McRoy.

The Tar Heels are currently in their third week of training camp as they prepare for their 2026 season opener, which is scheduled to take place on August 29 in Dublin, Ireland.
