UNC Greensboro Main Library renovation underway
The renovation project at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) Main Library is progressing. Construction, which commenced in 2025, is scheduled for completion in 2028.
Upon completion, the facility will offer students expanded seating areas, new study rooms, updated computer labs, a new staircase, and improved views. While significant portions of the building, including the tower, remain inaccessible due to construction, the library stays open for book pickups, group meetings, and academic support through the Academic Achievement Center. Additionally, resources remain available through the Harold Schiffman Music Library.
