UNC Tar Heels to Play West Virginia Mountaineers in Charlotte's Dick Vitale Invitational

The University of North Carolina Tar Heels men's basketball team will face the West Virginia University Mountaineers on Nov. 27 at the Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina. The matchup is part of the Dick Vitale Invitational and will be televised by ESPN.

It marks the sixth meeting between the two programs and the first since Dec. 21, 1965. West Virginia leads the all‑time series 5‑0, having won all five previous contests, including a 102‑97 victory in 1965 and a 75‑64 win in 1957 when UNC was ranked No. 1. No future games are scheduled beyond this single‑game arrangement.
