UNCAUS hosts inter-institutional meeting to combat human trafficking

The Universidad Nacional del Chaco Austral (UNCAUS) hosted the Inter-institutional Table against Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons in Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña. The meeting aimed to strengthen regional actions regarding prevention, assistance, and the prosecution of trafficking crimes.

The event brought together various organizations, including the Operational Directorate of the Executive Committee for the Fight against Trafficking and Exploitation of Persons (under the National Ministry of Security), the Chaco Subsecretariat of Gender and Diversity, and the Presidencia Roque Sáenz Peña City Council. Participants focused on exchanging information regarding the regional reality of trafficking and socialized a coordination protocol to improve institutional responses to potential cases.
