Uncle Acid & the deadbeats release seventh album ‘Shapes Of Midnight’

Cambridge-based psycho-rock quintet Uncle Acid & the deadbeats have released their seventh studio album, ‘Shapes Of Midnight’, via their own label, Killer Candy Records.

The album features eight tracks characterized by a vintage, analog sound, having been recorded to analog tape at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. The musical style blends psychedelic rock, doom, and influences from 1960s and 1970s heavy metal, utilizing reverb and saturation to create a gritty, textured atmosphere.

The current lineup includes frontman Kevin R. Starrs on vocals and guitar, Justin Smith on bass, Jon Rice on drums, George Hudson on rhythm guitar and vocals, and Rachell Burnett on keyboards and backing vocals.
