Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats Release 'Shapes of Midnight' Album

Cambridge‑based metal band Uncle Acid & The Deadbeats announced their seventh full‑length record, *Shapes of Midnight*, slated for a September 2026 release. The concept album draws inspiration from Edgar Allan Poe’s *The Masque of the Red Death* and contemporary nightmares, blending their trademark “Evil Beatles” sound with synth‑laden passages and retro‑rock elements.

The album was tracked at Abbey Road Studios in a three‑day live‑to‑analogue session engineered by Chris Bolster, whose past work includes Phil Spector and Ozzy Osbourne, and it was mastered by Grammy‑nominated Noel Summerville. The released track list features titles such as “House by the Grave,” “When Evil Wakes,” and the title track “Shapes of Midnight.”

Following the album’s launch the band will tour North America, the United Kingdom and Australia/New Zealand later this year, with additional European dates to be announced for the following year.
