Uncomfortable Cinema festival brings free documentaries to Alytus library

The 20th annual Uncomfortable Cinema documentary film festival will take place from October 5 to 25. As part of the celebration, the Alytus Jurgio Kunčinas Public Library will host free screenings for the community.

Attendees can choose between individual viewings on library computers or participating in collective sessions. This year's festival theme is ‘Cinema Impact. 20 Years’. The program features documentary stories from around the world focusing on human rights, social responsibility, politics, and sustainability.

In addition to Alytus, nearly 300 libraries across Lithuania are participating in the festival to ensure these stories reach a wide audience. Public sessions in Alytus will include discussions and live talks with guests.
