Under-14 National Volleyball Championship held in Chaco

The Under-14 National Volleyball Championship is currently taking place in Resistencia, Chaco, featuring a record 22 federations. The tournament, which concludes this Saturday, serves as the final national competition of 2026.

Among the participants, Simón Romero, a 12-year-old athlete from Zapala, is representing the Neuquén Provincial Selection. Romero, who trains at CEF N° 6 under coach Pablo Sánchez, has been playing since age nine.

In the Santa Fe selection, Helena Villata has emerged as a key player. The Santa Fe team has secured three consecutive 3-0 victories against La Rioja, Chubut, and La Pampa. Villata has been noted for her significant contributions to the team's performance, particularly through her blocking capabilities at the net.
