Under Armour launches 410 Invitational basketball tournament

Under Armour has announced the launch of the 410 Invitational, a new multi-year college basketball tournament based in Baltimore. The event will feature both men’s and women’s basketball programs from four local universities: Loyola University Maryland, Morgan State University, Towson University, and the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC).

The inaugural tournament is scheduled to begin on Thursday, Nov. 12, with men’s opening-round games. Women’s competition will follow on Friday, Nov. 13. Towson University will host the consolation and championship rounds for the first year. The tournament aims to showcase Baltimore-area basketball and provide student-athletes and coaches with experiences beyond the court, including programming at Under Armour’s global headquarters.

A media day featuring athletic directors and coaches is set for Oct. 28. While opening-round tickets are available through the participating schools, Towson Athletics will manage ticketing for the final rounds. Games will be broadcast live on the Monumental Sports Network.
