Undip and ITS win four titles at KMHE 2026

Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) and Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) emerged as dominant forces at the 2026 Energy Efficient Vehicle Competition (KMHE), held at the University of Jember from October 1–4.

Undip secured two titles in the Prototype category through its Antawirya Rondhan ICE and Antawirya Rondhan EV teams, winning the Gasoline Internal Combustion Engine (MPD) and Electric Motor classes, respectively. ITS contributed two wins in the Urban Concept category via the Nogogeni ITS Team, taking first place in both the Ethanol MPD and Electric Motor classes.

The competition featured 64 teams from 42 state and private universities across Indonesia. Other winners included Universitas Brawijaya in the Diesel MPD class, Universitas Negeri Malang in the Ethanol MPD class, Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta in the Gasoline MPD Urban Concept class, and Universitas Sebelas Maret in the Diesel MPD Urban Concept class.
