Undip students launch stunting prevention education in Boyolali

Students from Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) conducting community service (KKN) in Kemusu Village, Boyolali, have launched an educational program aimed at preventing stunting among toddlers. The initiative focuses on educating mothers about nutrition, sanitation, and healthy lifestyle habits.

The program was developed following observations and discussions with the Village Head and local midwives. It addresses the fact that stunting risks are linked not only to nutritional intake but also to household sanitation and daily living habits. Based on 2024 Indonesian nutritional data, the stunting prevalence remains at 19.8 percent, highlighting the need for strengthened parental education.
