Undip students promote catfish farming in Kalongan Village

Students from Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) are working to revitalize catfish farming in Kalongan Village, Ungaran Timur. Through a thematic community service program, students provided education on efficient feed management to the Karang Taruna youth group in RW 15.

The initiative aims to utilize limited land through the 'Budikdalon' method, which involves farming fish in gallon containers. This program addresses previous local failures where poor feed management led to high production costs and low yields, seeking instead to support family food security.
