UNED expands academic offerings for the 2026-2027 course
The National University of Distance Education (UNED) has announced its academic offerings and activities for the 2026-2027 academic year across various regional centers.
In Alcázar de San Juan, the university is introducing five new official degrees, including Artificial Intelligence Engineering and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics. Additionally, three new five-year double degrees in Psychology and Criminology, Mathematics and Physics, and Mathematics and Economics have been added. Enrollment for official undergraduate studies remains open until October 21 via the national platform. Local officials noted a trend of younger students enrolling due to housing difficulties in other university cities, with enrollment expected to grow by 6% to 8%.
In Asturias, the UNED center held a welcome event for new students in Gijón. The academic catalog has been reinforced with the same new degrees in Artificial Intelligence and Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, bringing the total number of degrees offered at the center to 32. The institution also offers five double degree programs, including Psychology and Criminology, Economics and Mathematics, and Mathematics and Physics.
