UNED expands academic offerings in Tomelloso and Ceuta
The National University of Distance Education (UNED) is implementing several academic expansions across its centers in Spain for the 2026-2027 academic year.
In Tomelloso, the university is launching UNED Senior, an initiative designed for adults seeking personal enrichment outside of formal labor market training. The program begins on November 8 with the course ‘Ciencia con Calma’. Additionally, the Tomelloso center is introducing a new double degree in Psychology and Criminology, a five-year program intended to strengthen the local academic presence.
In Ceuta, Director Carlos Rontomé announced the start of the academic year with a focus on student service quality and campus security. The Ceuta center has expanded its master's degree enrollment from 6 to 18 students and introduced new programs, including a degree in Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, a transversal degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics, and three new double degrees, including one in Psychology and Criminology. The center also aims to establish an ‘Observatorio de la Convivencia’ (Coexistence Observatory).
