Unemat approves 1,280 technology course vacancies for 2027
The University of the State of Mato Grosso (Unemat) University Council (Consuni) has approved the budget and structure for the ‘Verticaliza Unemat’ program. Scheduled for 2027, the initiative aims to offer 1,280 vacancies in higher technology courses, distributed across 32 classes of 40 students in 15 different municipalities.
Developed in partnership with the Mato Grosso State Secretariat of Science, Technology and Innovation (Seciteci-MT), the program involves an investment of approximately R$ 25.49 million. These funds will cover teacher recruitment, course production, materials, equipment, and academic management support.
The program is designed to bridge the gap between secondary technical education and technological undergraduate degrees by allowing students to recognize previous technical studies toward higher education. It specifically targets graduates of technical courses within Mato Grosso, with admission via a specific selection process.
