UNESCO Regional Center hosts strategic leadership seminar in Eastern Province

The UNESCO Regional Center for Quality and Excellence in Education, in collaboration with the Eastern Province Municipality, organized a seminar titled ‘Strategic Leadership for Sustainable Development according to Saudi Vision 2030 and Future Foresight’ at the Eastern Chamber of Commerce.

Sponsored by Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, the event brought together experts and government representatives to discuss transitioning from strategic planning to measurable institutional practices. The discussions focused on enhancing government performance, fostering integration between agencies, and aligning regional development with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.

Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Mudairis, Director General of the UNESCO Regional Center, stated that the seminar serves as a platform to exchange expertise and transform strategic directions into tangible developmental results. The seminar aims to produce the ‘Dammam Document 2026: From Strategic Leadership to Sustainable Developmental Impact,’ which will serve as a practical framework for implementing and measuring actionable plans to maximize developmental impact in the region.
