UNESP announces 2027 undergraduate vacancies and faculty openings

Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) has announced several academic opportunities and admissions processes for the upcoming period. The institution is opening 5,850 undergraduate vacancies for the 2027 academic year, distributed across 24 campuses in the state of São Paulo. Applications for the main entrance exam are open until October 20, 2026, via the Vunesp website. This intake includes 85 spots for medicine and utilizes a two-phase evaluation process consisting of multiple-choice questions, discursive questions, and an essay.

Additionally, UNESP is conducting selection processes for substitute professors. One vacancy is available for the area of Arts (Theater) in São Paulo, requiring a master's or doctoral degree. Another vacancy is open for General Physics at the Institute of Chemistry in Araraquara, which requires a doctorate. Both positions offer a 12-hour weekly workload and include food allowances.
