UNESP announces new job openings in São José do Rio Preto and Botucatu

Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP) has announced two distinct recruitment processes for different roles at its campuses in Brazil.

In São José do Rio Preto, the Institute of Biosciences, Letters and Exact Sciences (IBILCE) is seeking a substitute professor in Food Science and Technology, specifically in the subarea of food engineering. Candidates must hold a doctoral degree. The selection process includes a written exam, a didactic exam, and a curriculum analysis. Applications are open from October 21 to November 4, 2026, with salaries ranging from R$ 2,945.73 to R$ 3,511.90, plus a food allowance of R$ 2,000.02.

Separately, UNESP is offering a position for an Operational Assistant I focused on refrigeration and air conditioning at the Faculty of Medicine in Botucatu. This role requires a completed elementary education and offers a salary of R$ 4,405.88 for a 40-hour work week. The selection process, managed by Vunesp, will consist of an objective exam and a practical exam. Applications can be submitted online from June 18 to July 23, 2026.
