Unexploded ordnance discovered in Botoșani, Romania

A 60 mm mortar bomb and an artillery fuse were discovered in Orășeni Vale, within the Curtești commune, during land clearing operations for the future Botoșani ring road.

The explosives were found by an individual performing site preparation work. The ISU Botoșani pyrotechnic team responded to the scene, identified the munitions, and safely transported them to the Copălău military range for destruction.
