Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin begins construction on new nursing school

Construction is underway for a new nursing school at the Unfallkrankenhaus Berlin (UKB) in the Marzahn-Hellersdorf district. Following an official groundbreaking ceremony in August 2026, work is progressing on the health campus site.

Designed by the Berlin-based firm NAK Architekten, the two-story building aims to improve nursing training through a sustainable construction approach. The facility is expected to be completed by summer 2028 and will have the capacity to accommodate 250 trainees and up to 30 teaching staff.
