Ungererbad pool in Munich sells Germany's most expensive fries

The Ungererbad outdoor pool in Munich's Schwabing district has been identified as having the most expensive fries in Germany, according to a ranking by the travel and hotel rating portal Holidaycheck.

A large portion of fries at Ungererbad costs 7.50 euros, while a small portion is priced at 4.50 euros. For comparison, other Munich pools like Michaelibad charge 5 euros, and the Dantebad in Neuhausen offers the most affordable portion at 4.20 euros.

Stadtwerke München (SWM) stated that prices across outdoor pools are not uniform because external operators are responsible for gastronomic services. SWM noted that they work within contractual requirements to ensure prices remain within a market-standard and appropriate range for guests.
