Ungheni to Host Moldova Off‑Road and Motocross Championships August 2026

The municipality of Ungheni will host the third stage of the Republic of Moldova Off‑Road Championship on 22–23 August 2026, followed by the third stage of the national Motocross Championship on 30 August 2026. District President Dionisie Ternovschi convened a working meeting with the Bizon Off‑Road Ungheni association, the district council and other authorities to coordinate safety measures, public order and participant protection.

Local officials highlighted the events’ potential to raise Ungheni’s profile, attract visitors from across the country and promote the area’s tourism and recreational assets. Organisers also noted the possibility of Ungheni later hosting a Balkan‑level motocross competition.
