UNI. CO. opens new office in Catania to support small business credit

UNI. CO. has inaugurated a new office within the CNA provincial offices in Catania, located at Piazza dei Martiri 8. The new location aims to provide artisans and small businesses with integrated support, combining CNA services with UNI. CO. expertise in financial consultancy, guarantees, and credit access.

The opening is intended to facilitate dialogue between businesses and the banking system, offering direct medium- and long-term financing, sureties, and assistance with grants and incentives. This initiative comes at a time when credit to small businesses has faced significant challenges; citing Bank of Italy data, UNI. CO. noted that credit to small businesses declined by 46% between 2012 and 2025.

The inauguration ceremony included several officials, such as UNI. CO. Director General Paolo Mariani, CNA Sicilia President Filippo Scivoli, and Catania Vice Mayor Massimo Pesce.
