UNI whale sells 600,000 tokens for $5.1 million

A cryptocurrency whale has executed a significant sale of UNI, the governance token of the Uniswap ecosystem. According to on-chain data reported by Onchain Lens on September 18, 2026, a single address sold 600,000 UNI through multiple transactions, resulting in approximately 5.1 million USDT in cash.

In addition to the sales, the address transferred 100,000 UNI, valued at roughly $844,000, to the OKX cryptocurrency exchange. While transfers to exchanges can indicate intent to sell, market analysts note that such movements do not always guarantee immediate liquidation. The large-scale activity has drawn attention to potential selling pressure on the UNI token price.
