Unia Leszno speedway team faces end-of-season challenges

Fogo Unia Leszno concluded its speedway season in fourth place after a decline in performance during the play-offs. Sports director Rafał Dobrowolski attributed the team's late-season struggles to several factors, including the announcement of Grzegorz Zengota's departure from the club and health issues involving Janusz Kołodziej.

Piotr Pawlicki, who returned to the club this season, expressed personal responsibility for the team's failure to secure a medal. Pawlicki noted that his form declined in the second half of the season and promised to work toward a better performance next year.

Additionally, it has been confirmed that Grzegorz Zengota will not remain with Unia Leszno next season and will instead join Stelmet Falubaz Zielona Góra.
