Unia Skierniewice secured a historic victory in the Betclic 1. Liga, defeating Arka Gdynia to claim their first win of the season. The result marks the first time the newcomer has won a match at this level of Polish football.

Arka Gdynia, who entered the match as heavy favorites following two consecutive wins and a clean sheet, suffered their first defeat of the season. The match was decided by two quick goals from Unia Skierniewice in the second quarter of the game. Arka struggled to respond, failing to register a single shot on target during the entire second half.
