Unicaja announces Simonas Lukosius loan and roster updates

Unicaja has officially announced the arrival of Simonas Lukosius on loan from Dubai Basket. The 24-year-old Lithuanian-German forward, who was the MVP of the previous BCL Final Four, joins the roster to strengthen the team's perimeter defense and scoring. Lukosius, standing at two meters tall, becomes the 14th player on the squad under coach Txus Vidorreta.

Additionally, Swedish international Melwin Pantzar has discussed the competitive environment within the team's guard rotation, which includes Alberto Díaz and Kendrick Perry. Pantzar expressed optimism regarding the internal competition, noting that training alongside experienced players will help improve his game as he aims to secure playing time and contribute to the team's goals in Málaga.
