Unicaja appoints Jorge Cienfuegos as head of corporate banking

Unicaja announced the appointment of Jorge Cienfuegos as director of its Corporate Banking division. He will lead the network serving medium‑ and large‑size companies with annual revenues between €10 million and €150 million and drive the commercial plan outlined in the bank’s Strategic Plan 2025‑27.

Cienfuegos, a graduate in Economic and Business Sciences from the University of Oviedo, brings more than 30 years of banking experience. He will report to Jesús Ruano, director general of Business Banking, and coordinate four territorial units that provide nationwide coverage for corporate clients.
