Unicaja coach Txus Vidorreta relies on academy players during preseason

Unicaja coach Txus Vidorreta is utilizing the preseason to experiment with player roles and tactical schemes. Due to injuries to players such as Kalinoski, Hunt, and Kravish, as well as absences caused by the FIBA window, the team is relying heavily on youth players from the academy to provide depth.

Vidorreta emphasized the necessity of having more than 12 players to maintain normal working conditions. The coaching staff includes experienced professionals like Gavrilovic alongside emerging figures such as Gonzalo Hermoso and Mikel Ereño, who will work with the U22 team.
