Unicaja faces roster crisis due to multiple player injuries

Unicaja coach Txus Vidorreta has reported significant injury setbacks for several key players ahead of the Liga Endesa season. The most critical concern is Tyson Pérez, who is expected to undergo surgery and remain sidelined for several months due to a chronic issue involving a bone in his calcaneus.

Additionally, Tyler Kalinoski is facing a slow recovery from an ankle sprain sustained during the summer, having yet to engage in contact training. Yannick Nzosa is also confirmed to be out for several months following a fifth metatarsal fracture.

Due to these absences, the club is currently operating with a limited roster of eleven players instead of the planned fourteen or fifteen, prompting the team to consider up to three new signings to bolster the squad.
