Unicaja Málaga negotiates with former NBA forward Kevin Knox
Unicaja Málaga is in negotiations to sign American forward Kevin Knox following his release from the Orlando Magic. The 27-year-old, a former 9th overall pick in the 2018 NBA Draft, brings significant experience from over 320 NBA games with teams including the New York Knicks, Atlanta Hawks, and Golden State Warriors.
The Spanish club is actively looking to strengthen its roster due to injury concerns, most notably following Tyson Pérez’s recent Achilles tendon surgery. Knox, standing at 2.03 meters, offers versatility as he can play both the small forward and power forward positions.
While Knox has demonstrated scoring potential and rebounding ability, his transition to European basketball remains an unknown factor. Unicaja is currently evaluating his profile to address depth issues in their frontcourt.
